The FIA Qualification
Overview
ACCA’s Foundations in Accountancy (ACCA – FIA) is a combination of study and practical experience, designed to build
your knowledge in accountancy, IT and management.
With an emphasis on flexibility and opportunity, the qualification is accessible to anyone aged 16 years or older.
There are no time constraints to your examinations, so you can study and qualify at a pace which suits you.
Your previous examinations may also entitle you to exempt from certain examinations. This will ensure your point
of entry is the most suitable for your level of knowledge and skills and will prevent you repeating areas with which
you are familiar.
On completion of the qualification, you will be eligible for automatic transfer to the ACCA Professional Scheme
qualification, and entitled to exempt from Applied Knowledge Module of the examinations.
